Lisa Golden

Lisa has amassed a breadth of knowledge and experience within the pharmacy industry having been in and around community pharmacy for 20 years. Starting as a pharmacy assistant in country Queensland, Lisa then went on to Study a Bachelor of Commerce and continued her career in pharmacy. With her her passion to learn and evolve, Lisa then completed her MBA in 2015 and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Lisa is well recognised and respected within the industry having spent 10 years at an executive level in both generic and branded pharmaceuticals. Previously, she has held key roles in companies such as Apotex, MundiPharma and Arrotex.
Responsible for shaping, influencing and implementing business strategy within the broader industry landscape, Lisa was the first female board member of the Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association. She speaks regularly about women in ownership, leadership and management at industry events.
Lisa is passionate about community pharmacy and the important role it plays in a rural and remote settings. Lisa is an advocate for women in business and more broadly, the generational shift in ownership in pharmacy. Lisa relishes in the opportunity that Melville House provides in being able to combine these passions with tangible solutions to affect change.
